If you don’t already know about Create A Skate you have got to check it out at http://createaskate.org. It was started by The Professor himself - Paul Schmitt, to inspire kids to learn about Nature, Science, Math and the Environment disguised as “making a skateboard”. Well this year at ASR Paul got some pretty big kids to teach his craft too when Jason Lee stopped by the booth. After Jason finished up his masterpiece he got a pretty sweet surprise. The Hurley Pool Rules Show went down on December 18th 2007 in Hawaii. Lester Kasai, Pat Ngoho, Christian Hosoi, Cholo from Scum Skates, Duane Peters, Omar Hassan, Salba and a bunch of other heads came for the show and demo. I shot a couple of rolls of some seriously old film 16mm and hoped for the best. The skatepark was brand new - infact it wasn’t officially open just yet, so this demo was technically a heist. Directly across the street from this cement playground is the world famous Pipeline. Music By J.F.A.
